Demand for remote and hybrid jobs in Canada drops sharply

- Eighty-four per cent of Canadian job postings in Q2 2026 required full-time on-site work, up from 63 per cent in late 2025.
- Hybrid role postings fell to 13 per cent in Q2 2026 from 27 per cent in late 2025.
- Fully remote position postings dropped to 3 per cent in Q2 2026 from 10 per cent in late 2025.
- Canada ranks 9th among 30 countries surveyed for fewest fully remote job postings at 13.7 per cent.
